A request to view or access a public records in the Tightwad Fire Protection District's possession, sometimes called a Sunshine Law Request, can be made on the Contact Us webpage of the District's website.
The Custodian of Records can also be contacted to make a request to view or access a public records in the District's possession.
We cordially request that requests to view or access a public records in the District's possessions not be made through the District's Facebook page, as the Facebook page is managed by several individuals and requests cannot be guaranteed to be seen or handled by the proper individual within legal time requirements.
Please note, if a request takes in excess of 15 minutes, the request will be billed in 15 minute increments at $25 per hour for scanning and handling of the request. For more information, click see the District's Sunshine Law Policy #872.

Tightwad Fire Protection District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
